Name / Strapline For A Concierge Service

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
Hi, I'm working on a design for a concierge service at the moment and have to come up with a few possible names and straplines.

The service is an add on for a corporate front-of-house / reception services company. I have come up with the name 'quintessential' or quintessentially yours' but am not particularly happy with either.

The concierge will facilitate anything from travel, everyday essential services such as dog-walking / laundry to events and dining…

Many thanks

Okay, since you are supplying just about everything, who is your target customer. Because an effective tagline isn't about vague statements - they remind people to do something. It doesn't remind them to come to you.

Which is a very big difference.

    Names:

Extra Essentials For the things you don't have time for.

Louise's helping hand: An extra hand for all the things that let you have a life.

A Little help: Louise helps you do the things you really want to do.

"Quintessential" often means "being the most typical", which isn't a good match for the service you're offering. How about "Nonpareil" (which means "having no match or equal") instead?

A few years ago we did a naming/tagline/logo project for a concierge service. They originally asked for suggestions on this forum, but they ultimately recognized that the name and tagline are really an expression of the positioning ... and they didn't have one. They completely skipped the positioning and creative brief steps.

So once they realized it, they also realized how important those preliminary steps are -- not just for naming/tagline, but also for the whole marketing strategy and business plan. They took it seriously and hired professional help.

This isn't to say we can't come up with some good suggestions here on the forum, but it's not clear how you'll know when a winner shows up. What criteria will you use to evaluate our suggestions? In fact, if you can answer that question there's a much better chance we can come up with great suggestions.

Thanks for your responses. I'm sorry, I probably wasn't particularly clear, the company is not mine, I'm working on a visual brand for a service for an established company.
