Independent Travel Agent Website Slogan

Posted by lmprescott01 on 250 Points
Hello! Looking for help for a slogan for an independent travel agent website. Will offer all types of travel but will focus on destination weddings, honeymoons, anniversaries, and tropical locations.

Would like a short (7-8 word) slogan that does not exclude any traveler type. Name of business is Prescott Cruise and Travel. Will focus on providing superior customer service and vacations with best value.

Have considered including the word "free" in the slogan since all commission will be paid by travel suppliers and not as an added fee to the client. My thought on adding "free" is to entice potential customers visiting website to actually inquire as I think it is a common belief that travel agent fees are paid for my the client. Not sure if that is overly tacky or not? I have also toyed with posing slogan as a question. Example: Where in the world do YOU want to go?
This will only be used in the top banner portion of the website.

Any ideas are greatly appreciated!

Thank you in advance!

You right, FREE is tacky, but it could also cause legal problems. I would just use "We'll take you there!" or "We'll take you where you want to go"

I was thinking of "free travel planning services", because the travel planning is free for the client. Would that still be a concern from a legal stand point?

I've decided to take the "free" option out. Not because it is tacky, but because I've realized that there may be times when I will want to tack on a service fee for various reasons.

Let's untie a few things. You offer customer service, yet you are cutting corners so that they are cheap - the "no frills" option.

Put another way, you are either one or the other. Make up your mind and your customers will prick up their ears.

Because it's a lot easier to market quality than it is on price. When it's about quality, it means prospects get a choice. IF they like what they see, they will pay up. If they haven't got the money, they don't have a choice and go to Walmart - or get themselves stung on the internet.

Either that or they do as we did and hitch a ride on the freight aircraft out of Johannesburg.

Who is your target audience? Where do they live? What are their alternatives? What do other travel agents in your area say/promise?

The narrower your target audience, the more specific and direct you can be in your communication with them. And specific/direct communication is always more effective than general, one-size-fits-all communication.

So pick a specific target and learn how they make travel decisions, what they want in an agent, and what words they use when they describe their ideal agent. Then you'll be in a position to craft a slogan that really makes them sit up and pay attention.

I think you should keep it simple and engage the consumers who seek traveling as there way out of the regular day of life. "Time to clock out of work & time to check in", "Relax Destination".
