Posted by Anonymous on 500 Points
Looking for Corporate and Unique Brand Names for a Real Estate / Infrastructure Company. The name of the Parent Company is MIRA. So, the first name of the brand name should be MIRA. For example : Mira Real Estate Developers.

Details about the Company :
The Company is into construction of Commercial and Residential Properties and is looking to market itself in the ever increasing competitive market. For the same reason, they are seeking a brand name.

More Details :
The Company is catering to middle class and upper middle class and corporates. The name should be unique to attract attention and there should be an attempt to memorise the brand name. We are not looking at Simple Names for a reason.

Looking forward to some support

Cheers.

There is one thing we need to know first. What do you do for the people you cater for

    (a) that nobody else does
    (b) they like about you - and means that they choose you and not The Acme Building corp.
    (c) what sort of things are going to stick in their minds.

Using all this you can make your name more memorable, and a little special too.

Where is this company located? Any reason not to use some reference to the location in the name? And can you be more specific about your target audience(s)? (It sounds like you might have two audiences that make decisions somewhat differently from each other.)

And why would people want to memorize the name of the company? It's been my experience that people memorize things that are important to THEM and that they think they may need/want to recall at some future date. Is there something about your company that your target audience would find important enough to memorize the name? If so, what is it?

In your industry, I'd expect repeat purchase to be relatively infrequent. (Once every few years?) If you do a good job and they feel good about the relationship, a customer will probably save the name electronically or in a directory -- regardless of how memorable the name is. It's not like a candy bar that someone might purchase several times a month.

In addition to answering the above questions, why should the first name in the brand be "MIRA"? Did the client set this requirement? Or are you, as the client, setting this requirement? By directing this as absolute criteria, it seems you are guaranteeing a simple name result such as your example "MIRA Real Estate Developers", which is not going to be memorable.

We need to know the full story to be of any real help.
