Limo Service Transporting Surgical Patients

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
Please help name my limousine company. Business is focused on transporting people to and from ambulatory centers. We also transport people to airports. I do not want the words surgery, patient, or procedure in the name. I like the words prescription or RX. You can use abbreviations and travel words. Thanks

What's your thinking regarding not using "patient or surgery" in the name? Why are "prescription or Rx" better? If you're trying to establish a limo company as specializing in serving ambulatory centers, why wouldn't you put that in the name (for example, "The Patient Limo Of Chicago" or "Chicago Patient Limo")? Also, since people who are looking to take a limo to the airport are likely a different audience from ambulatory patients, you'd likely want a different marketing message to this audience, and a name that connects to patients is unlikely to connect with airport travelers.

We will be located in Central New Jersey... We did not want to use patient or surgery in the name because we didn't want it to sound as if the patients were sick.. Most surgeries are cosmetic.

I would probably go with a simple name like "Garden State Limousine Service" and use the tagline to call out the audience. That way you can have different taglines for different audiences and still keep the name consistent.

The real question is how people will find you -- regardless of the name. If you're planning to use search advertising, then you can be specific about the target audience in your ads and landing pages. Only the target audience will see them. If you're planning to use mass media advertising of some kind, then you may have to refer to "airports, sporting events, doctors' offices and clinics" as the destinations.

It's a real challenge to communicate your primary benefit and also be discreet (like flying under the radar and wanting to be seen).Maybe one of these names will help:

    Mobile RX (RX Mobile)
    Jersey Mobile RX
    Assisted Limousine
    Special Delivery Limousine
    Advantage Limousine
