Creating A Tagline For A Stylist In Nyc

Posted by laurenhaha on 250 Points
Hi there ! I'm helping a stylist in NYC create a newsletter promotion for himself . He cuts and styles for movie stars and NYers. He has a casual style himself, so wanted to create a line like "Creating style without Trying too hard" erg. Can't quite nail it! Help!

He wants to mail out en email with the following info;

Gilt clients
Offering 100.00 cuts
Serge Normant @ John Frieda
825 Washington street
212-675-0001 ext 2
I also just started offering a deep conditioning Japanese treatment no chemicals all natural ingredients- plant extracts and collagen. Last 5 weeks amazing for people who have highlight or get color or have dry over processed hair.
I don't wanna mention the price of the cond. treatment. Just wanna mention that I just started doing it. Thanx babe!!

    Is the tagline for the business or is it a headline for this mailing? We'd need to know a little more regardless: Who is the target audience? What does he want to communicate with the tagline? What is the name of the business?

    Are you sure he needs a tagline? What is it supposed to do for him? How will he know if it's working or not?

    For a newsletter name (?), how about, "Casual Chic Cuts" or "3C Stylists", and then frequently restate the words that make up this acronym in the newsletter.
