Events Company Name For 3 Ladies

We want to do an event company. We are 3 ladies all married with children. We want to start with birthday supplies then go up to wedding supplies and then even consider to be event planner. Our names are Joelle Yannick and Diane. We will start with supplies for kids, communion anniversary wedding and then try to plan those parties from A to Z

    I agree with Phil - don't try to use your names unless you're well known in your region.

    You want to start a business?

    Great. Go for it.

    But first, my best advice is to write a marketing plan and a business plan.

    You then need to draft, write, agree on and sign a business agreement or partnership that you get notarized. This document then legally binds and protects all three of you from the others.

    You do this to cover your butts against fraud, bad debts, theft, and creditors—AND to ensure fiscal agreement.

    In a business agreement such as you're entering into you do NOT put one person and one person ALONE in charge of finances.

    You may be friends at the moment but I can assure you that things can and will turn ugly when cash flow dries up and when it comes time to point fingers.

    What capital reserves do you have to see your through your first year? What are your business and revenue projections? How will you cover expenses, pay yourselves a modest salary, AND set aside monies to reinvest in marketing?

    Until you have all your partnership, business planning, and fiscal ducks neatly in a row you'll be a long way indeed from deciding on a name.
