Brand Name For B2c Line Of 3 Dimensional Decals

Posted by andreadoll on 50 Points
We are trying to come up with a brand name for a new consumer website offering 3 dimensional decals that look like formed chrome. The site will include a variety of fun designs for people of all ages and interests. The decals feature automotive grade durability and aggressive adhesive, so can be used on vehicles as well as numerous other indoor and outdoor applications. You can see samples of this 3 dimensional product that we have produced for use in the B2B realm here: https://www.dec-o-art.com/dec-o-form.

The designs for the consumer website include things such as:
Children: frogs, dragonflies, rainbows
Teens: stars, hearts, flames, skulls, popular words/phrases
Adults: game animals (for hunters), flags, car emblems such as 4x4, various designs that can be applied to phones, laptops, Kindle cases, etc.

The names we've liked do not have domains available. Others we've come up with feel rather generic. We're looking for a name that is fun, but isn't too gender or age specific. We are also hoping to eventually expand our consumer offering to include other types of decals we make, such as "wet look" decals ( https://www.dec-o-art.com/deco-lens ), so we have been keeping that in mind as we've brainstormed names (i.e. not everything will be chrome).
Any ideas you have would be very much appreciated. Thanks!

Who is the target audience for this? You've been too broad in your initial description. "People of all ages and interests" has 7 billion members. Surely you don't want to pay to reach 7 billion prospects ... at least not initially.

The more specific and narrow you can be in your target audience definition, the better able we will be to come up with a name that will resonate with your audience. (And you'll be able to afford to reach them too!) When you try to go too broad it ends up being sub-optimal for everyone. Ideal would be an audience you can realistically reach and get a 100% market share. Then when you've done that we can add another target audience, and keep going until we get to that 7 billion mark.

P.S. How are your prospects going to find you? How will they learn that you exist? Is there a marketing plan, or are you just hoping that if you build it they will come?
