Tagline For Hair Salon

Posted by Anonymous on 125 Points
I need a Tagline to explaine the name of my company. I am a independent contractor inside a hair salon. I have been an employee of the salon since opening 4+years ago but now my boss is changing to booth rental. I have came up with a company name so I can put my business name and the name of the salon on all of my business/marketing material so if I ever need to leave the salon I'm at right now my clients know what then amend my business is so it would be eaiser to find me. The name of my business is "Color Me Pretty" now I need a Tagline to explaine its a hair salon to people that don't know what I do.

Then why not simply make your tagline "A Hair Salon" (or "A Hair Salon For XXXXX" - where "XXXXX" is the group of people you specialize in)?

My specialty/moneymaker is hair color. From my experience in the salon people came to us for haircolor because we had the would color in our name so thats why I chose that name. I also cut, style, and some texture (perms/relaxers) work. Most of my clientele is word of mouth but or the few thr just see my business card I would like a catchy Tagline that states I do all things hair.

Since you're online, and you have a business with clients already - PLUS you're getting them by word of mouth (= gold dust in marketing terms) what is the one thing your customers say about you when choosing you and not someone else?

After all, they're choosing. When you know what this is (and if you don't, then just ask them!! Ask them simply what made them choose you and not someone else) - your tagline will almost write itself. You can get back to us and we can come up with some snappy ideas, however your clients here are the key to a really effective tagline that tells the truth about you.

My clients always say I'm good at listening to want they want. I would say I am really good at understanding them and theire ideas.

Also, I have been thinking all day what about:

    Color
    Me
    Pretty
    Hair Designs by Brittany

    Or Color
    Me
    Pretty
    All things hair!

But then should I still have a tag line on the bottom of my business cards too?
