Please Help Name My Boutique!!!

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
Hello! I am opening a small women's clothing boutique in June and still haven't found my name! The boutique is located in an upper class neighborhood. My target clientele is women between the ages 21-40. My clothing will be trendy with a pretty, vintage flair.

I am going for very feminine. I need a name that is both classy and fun, and that really describes what my boutique is all about. Nothing too wild. My price range will be moderate, starting around $40 and up to around $65. I would like to offer my clientele a unique shopping experience. Basically, I want them to feel pampered. I am checking into the possibility of offering cocktails (complementary) as they shop. There is nowhere else in my city that offers drinks, to my knowledge. I want it to be a fun & relaxing experience.
With that said, here are some names I have considered-

Modish- my least favorite
Something with the word "Vintage" included

Here are some words I like- vintage, dainty, charm, frill/frilly, sugar, fuss, array, grace, adorn, poise

I am not in love with any of these names & am open to suggestions! I really want to get the fact that my styles are pretty and feminine across, without sounding too juvenile. It has to be catchy, of course!

I also need help with a tag line!! I have no ideas at all for that!! Thanks in advance for your help!! I want to sign my lease tomorrow, but I don't have a business license because I'm stuck on the name part!!

What do you think of these - some may already be trademarked, but may spark an idea in your mind.

My first thought was "Southern Belle" - no doubt someone's gotten that tied down.

    Paris Of The South
    Mode du Sud
    Vintage Modes
    Quartier Latin
Rive de Seine (should that be du Seine? My French is awful)
    Vintage Quarter
Carnaby Quarter (Carnaby st. in London? Does this mean anything to you guys?)
    Venice Vintages

I'm trying for that feel of European specialness. Is this to your liking? Let's have some feedback, it's what makes this place worthwhile.

    Pretty Rock
    Vintage Rock
    Dainty Rock
La Petite (named after the rock formation itself)

Thank you so much for your ideas! All are great, but there's not one that's just jumping out to me. My store is very small (about 500 sf) and kind of quirky. The trim around the outside door is painted bright pink, and the dome awning is a pea green. You walk through the front door and have to go down a short stairway to the right. It has an unfinished ceiling and the interior reminds me of a room in an older craftsman style house. I wanted to add that information so you can get a feel for what the place is like! Have kind of been leaning towards JuJu -a modern boutique.
Thanks again for all your help!!

How about a one word name like:

    Blush
    Frills
    Ruche
    Posh

I feel like one word names are very hip :) Good luck!

That sounds very Parisian to me. What do you think of the French angle? Do you like that or should I try another direction?

I love Stacy's ideas! Blush is my favorite!, but there is already one in AR. Maybe I will check on either "Blush" only or "Blush Boutique" to see how they have their business listed. The area my boutique is located is called The Heights. Maybe I could do "Blush in the Heights" or something along those lines. The people that live in the area are very proud of their neighborhood. :)
