Tagline For Rehab Company

Posted by jacqueline.sumner on 500 Points
New rehab company named Aspire Rehab. I’m a speech therapist working with voice, speech, language, cognitive-linguistic, and swallowing disorders. I’m starting out on my own with later expansion to provide physical therapy & occupational therapy. I need a catchy tagline to include with my company name. Already have a designer creating custom logo. My strong qualities and where I stand out is in my rapport and ability to bond with my patients. I do this better than most therapists I work with. I can bond with the most difficult patients. This is critical in therapy. I listen when they need to talk and realize that I’m not just treating their speech, voice, or swallowing. I’m treating the whole person and care about psychological wellbeing which is a critical part of therapy being successful. I take the time to know my patients personally, be empathetic to their situation, and try to help in problems that may be causing stress. I am working with adults 18 years to death (mostly between mid 40’s to 70’s). Medically I deal with stroke, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, multiple sclerosis, swallowing deficits, traumatic brain injury, laryngeal cancer etc... I picked aspire because I had the aspiration to become a therapist to help others and I’m sure every one of my patients has aspirations or aspires to improve or regain some normalcy to their life. I feel my company and the care I offer will be the step in the right direction to achieve those aspirations and I can make that journey easier and a little more pleasant.

    Taking Time to Know You

Firstly well done for recognizing your strengths in a world full of people who only think they're strong. You know it - because you listen to your clients needs.

I like Steve's "Taking Time To Know You" - because it's true of you. Importantly if someone copies it and doesn't take the time to know them, are their clients going to be happy with them? This is very important when establishing your independence and uniqueness. People can copy the name it is way harder to put that into practice - and this means that them copying can actually be positive for you.

Taking some different directions from Steve

    - helping you feel fresh
    - helping you find the confidence that's inside you
    - giving you the time to be the real you
    - finding the confidence that is the real you
    - your confidence is the key. I find it.
    - I listen to the things you don't say.

What do you think? Do you like them - and why? Or if you don't, again, why? That will give us all directions. Because I can listen to customers almost as well as you can. It's knowing what they aren't able to say makes the leap in communicating with them.

Thank you so much for both of your responses! I love the following: Taking Time to Know You, giving you the time to be the real you, your confidence is the key, I listen to the things you don't say. Taking the time to know you & giving you the time to be the real you say something about what I offer. Like you said taking the time to know you is where I stand out and I want all my therapist in my company to demonstrate that characteristic. It is to the point, catchy, but meaningful. The confidence is key explains that the patient has what they need to improve but I help them figure out how to use it. I love listen to the things you don’t say as well because of course I’m a speech language pathologist and deal with communication. I don’t care for helping you feel fresh as it personally makes me think of personal hygiene products. I know that is not how it is intended and there are other meanings like feeling fresh after a night of good sleep or a long weekend but since it is could be interpreted either way I would prefer to avoid it. I liked helping you find the confidence that's inside you but wonder if it’s a little long and not as catchy as the confidence is key. Giving you the time to be the real you I like and it actually might be work best since I plan to have three different types of therapy offered. Finally, finding the confidence that is the real you is okay. The real you part implies we can help them get back to who they are and not focus on who they have become due to a medical condition. However, the way it is worded “finding your confidence that is the real you” I feel that it is vague and says I help them find their confidence which we may do but that confidence is only a piece of the puzzle. Whereas, the other confidence comment implies the confidence is the key but there is still other components needed to get better. If that makes sense? Keeping in mind every individual interprets language differently :) so someone else will get a very different idea when reading these. I am definitely torn they are all really good so I am going to ask my friend who is a physician to vote on his top choice between these. Thank you so much I would never have been able to come up with such wonderful taglines.

You have raised an important point here - my use of the word "fresh". I was describing a feeling I had and that isn't always easy with words - you'll get that for sure! Because mis-interpretations are a very real danger with taglines as you can see!

Thank goodness it didn't get past the first hurdle.

However, these taglines aren't for me - and they aren't for you, and they aren't for doctors. They are for your customers, patients and the people who need your services. It has to speak to them, and the one they like best is the one to choose.

On the issue of confidence -

So you step out with your head held high
so you can look 'em straight in the eye
so you can tell 'em straight.

    if you are following me!

    Helping you to stand tall
    helping you to step out
helping you to a new day

Choose a few (darts are good for that) and try them on your customers! Have fun, have a great weekend and think of all the people who now have great weekends thanks to your patience.
