Manufacturer And Wholesaler Of Diamonds

Posted by hitendesai90 on 50 Points
Hi Everyone,

We've been a wholesaler in New York for about 10 years now. We recently created a certified division here with the addition of my son. We have offices world wide, and now to start marketing certified diamonds in the USA, we needed some help creating an intricate tag line.

We've come up with a few however we want something edgy, ours seem to be very conventional.

Thank you, We'd appreciate any help!

You've been in business 10 years, so you know the kind of people who will buy from you - and the people who just come in to go "ooooooooooooooooooooooooooh!". Near me are Amsterdam and Antwerp. I need say no more!

The point is to catch the attention of buyers, not gawpers. You know the difference, and your tagline doesn't need to be edgy or special - - - it DOES need to speak to THEM. The ones that buy. Everything else is irrelevant. You might not like it yourself, only remember it isn't me and it isn't you that's buying here. It's all about them.

I'm going to give this a try, only they are the ones that count here. If we know more about their character, their likes and dislikes we can tune into that and your tagline becomes a fishing line with a very nice hook at the end of it.

The most beautiful sight on the planet
    Beauty encapsulated
    So small yet so beautiful
    It's all about the colors
A million bucks in one small space
a million bucks of pure beauty
You can't buy beauty, you can buy a diamond

Any good? Please let us know as if you feel it should be something different, we can only do that if you tell us! Then we try again. Okay?

    Hi,

I appreciate your quick response, I think it should be alittle more different.

Here are a few from other companies in New York,

    From Seed to Bloom

Perfection is created in Heaven, We only excel at all the down to earth arrangements (i feel this is too long)

Sparkle with our diamonds and one of a kind jewelery pieces

    ...Because Quality counts

    Raise your expectations

Be natural (but this is for a natural colored stones)

Whats your fancy? (fancy color stone seller)

    magnificence is our obsession

only true love can be as beautiful

those are just some examples of other wholesalers.

I thought of, For every facet of your life. Still need something more exciting

If you can give any input, that would be wonderful! Thank you once again.

I like your direction of "Raise Your Expectations".

    Some alternatives include ..

Lift Your Expectations (a Little Higher)
Lift Your Standards (a Little Higher)
    Aspire to a Higher Standard
    Elevate Your Expectations

What's the name of your company? The reason I ask is ideally you want a name that both builds on your name and clearly articulates a benefit in the tagline.

The company name is Bluerays, Inc.

"Because nothing says 'I love you' like a diamond"
    "Like love, eternal"

People buy diamonds to impress other people. How will your stones be certified?
  • Posted by hitendesai90 on Author
All my stones are GIA certified, we sell mainly to other wholesalers and few retailers, though we do want to supply more retailers, our main concern is attracting other wholesalers so as far as, because nothing says ' ilove you' like a diamond, goes, i think that would be a very nice tag line for a retail company.

Where do you get your stones from? From other dealers, or from one of the large cartels? Do you buy rough stones and cut your own?

Where do the stones originate and how will your certification process differ or authenticate in ways that existing certifications cannot?

And certified to what standard? Certified to be what? Will your certification be recognized elsewhere?

Might there be mileage in the answers to these questions to provide a tag line? BTW, the tag line does not have to be "edgy": it simply needs meaning and significance for the buyer.

We buy rough from different mines in different countries and cut the rough ourselves in India. All stones go through the kimerberly process to certify that no blood was shed in any of our diamonds. Our stones are then sent to GIA to get certified as polished diamonds. A process every manufacturer and wholesaler goes through. These are all standard procedures, nothing to provide a tag line.
