Wedding/event Planning Tagline

Posted by brownruth11 on 25 Points
I recently started a new consulting business with the name Southern Soirées. I need a tag line that would catch potential clients attention and make them want to explore my website more. Thanks in advance!

What are you offering? Complete weddings? Complete events? Large? Small? Who ideally are you serving and where are these people (and you)?

What do you offer that other wedding planners and event organizers don't offer? What makes you different? What makes you better? What makes you the logical first choice in your area above and beyond EVERY other service provider serving your niche audience?

Alone, a tag line won't make people "want" to explore a website. What is it that attracts people TO the site in the first lace? Your content? Your SEO? Your PPC campaigns, contextual ads, or banners? Your inbound links from related sites? Your off line advertising?

Let's look at this from the point of view of your best customer. Who is she and what does she want of her wedding? What is it that you do that she'll see you and think

"Southern Soirees! Oh, isn't just the loveliest name?"

The point is that at this point your audience is still in the realms of imagination when it comes to the wedding. It's all kind of fuzzy and nothing's hard and fast. That's where a name and tagline can get people interested to look at your website. You will need to test it on them first though - make sure it's the right message that speaks to your very best client. Okay? Don't just use one that you like, because you're not buying. They are, so remember who you're serving and serve them from the moment they see your tagline.

Your job as a consultant is to bring their whimsical fantasies into some kind of order and reality - and that reality should exceed the limits of their imagination. If I could do this for furniture, you sure can do it for weddings!!

A few taglines - they won't be very good as I don't know what makes you special.
