I Need A Name For My Health & Beauty Supplement Co

Posted by cvillar77 on 250 Points
I recently became a distributor for a health and beauty supplement company. I am starting a website and want to print business cards and other marketing tools. I need a name that speaks to health weight and a better life. I'd like something catchy that leads toward honoring your body and wanting to take better care of it.

Well, you're entering one of the fiercest commodity markets on the planet*. Health and Beauty is a tough market - there are a billion sites dedicated specifically to it. And that's a conservative estimate. And remember that the company selling you this stuff will make a lot more than you ever will.

    Now for the Good News:

However that's not the whole story by any means! There are always ways around these things, and that's where the clever people make money. So what do you do that nobody else can? The key to any commodity market is specialism of some kind. Most commodities are sold as ... commodities. Which is why the marketplace is jammed with them. Yet in the middle of all this is something that stands out for you, catches your interest and leads you to buy from them week after week.

It might be home-made cheeses, computer repairs from a guy who actually listens to you, whatever it is, you always come back. There's something special. Make your commodities special and you have a chance. Now it won't be big to start with - but as all the marketing trainers state: earn yourself one dollar from marketing.

    Just one dollar!

Because most people who start don't even make that much. Once you've learned how to make one, you can make two, four - and scale that a little and hey presto! You're in a business that's making you a living. Investing in anything else than getting that dollar is largely irrelevant right now.

Now all of this is fine, only we don't have a name yet, do we? Now I'm not on form this morning. I don't know why but my names haven't their usual pizazz. I'll have a go, perhaps the Muse will return later?

I'm not looking up domain names just yet - I need to know which direction we're taking first. "Your body is a temple" is a little overused. Here's a few suggestions:

    BodyStream
    BodyFlow
    BodySpring System

No, it's not coming today. Usually it's a little more out of the box. Apols.

Anyway, what do you think of all this waffle?

*Actually, I say that about all commodity markets. It happens to be the truth too - there are too many commodities and too many people thinking that selling this way really works.

Are you basically selling supplements to lose weight, or are your supplements to (help) cure specific body ailments? What's the difference between an "health supplement" and a "beauty supplement" - is one ingested and the other topically applied? What makes your offerings trustworthy & unique (are you crafting them yourself, or are you selling another's product line)? Finally, who specifically is likely to purchase from you? Why?
