Real Estate Newsletter Needs Name

Posted by pwright on 125 Points
I am creating my first ever real estate newsletter to send to past clients and leads via mail. My approach is casual and fun. Many of my clients end up being friends, have come to my wedding, visited when my twins were born etc. On testimonials they comment that they got professional advice that felt personal. So how do I translate that into a Title? My first newsletter will include a Blueberry cheesecake recipe, tips on heading to the beach, dealing with bugs, Summer Free movie schedule at local movie theater.

This is a great idea, and the "social media" aspect of adding connected ideas that retain interest is wonderful. What you do need is some kind of focus, where all these ideas can find a single point of interest to radiate from. It's a tough job, and one I've just been through myself - it's worth doing though.

And believe me, it'll have been there all along. It's really galling to realize that too. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

So your service is so client focussed that some of them even wind up as mates. Yet you can handle the often fraught business-personal aspects of the relationship and offer crystal clear advice to people who want to hear something else - and still keep them as friends.

Are you aware of just how rare a talent you have?

    Perhaps not.

Now I'm not even going to mention business or personal in the taglines. Because this isn't about business and it isn't about personal - those are abstract concepts used by people whose ability to think is limited to the rational. There's way more to life than that.

With the taglines, you will need to ask your customers (the ones who are now friends) which ones they like - and any customers with whom you got on extremely well. Because these are the kinds of customers you want. This goes against much of the business/consultant model advice - that's not your problem. You've broken enough rules already to worry about breaking more of them. The success of your business is testimony enough.

Sorry, I can't quite find the focus. Perhaps a few of the others can see it.
