Good morning, I'm pretty sure you can't call yourselves 3M ;-)

Doing business in the business community (B2B) your naming needs are not quite so important. What I mean is that business people prefer results to fancy names. I have dealt with the sharp end of this with a gentleman in Cambodia this morning.

In this respect a tagline is more important than a name as such. If this interests you we can go down that route.

I am presuming that you all have experience in what is a tightly fought commodity market. That it is small and localized makes little difference, save that you have the advantage of knowing the local terrain. What have past customers (businesses) said about the way you run your business - this could lead to an effective name that runs through to your tagline.

In the mean time here's a few suggestions pulled out of thin air:

    Three Persians
Clothing Cubed (as in something multiplied by itself three times)
    The Threesome
    The Three Clothiers

None of which demonstrate who you really are - and the sort of attitude a harassed businessman might find by just looking at your business' name in a directory.

    Over to you!

One avenue is to pick a Persian word that conveys the type of style/man you focus on, and Anglicize it (make it sound similar to the Persian word). That'll give you some freedom in your marketing to convey how "Persian heritage" matters.

Thanks for your comments and advice, it was really helpful. Of course I do not want to use the "3M" name!!;) I think it's better to choose a Persian name..

I'm not sure if there are any Persian speakers on this forum though ... any suggestions would need translating ;-)

Did you like any of my suggestions - what is your specialism in your business? What are your customers looking for? And why?

How about "Persian Brothers Men's Clothing" ... or substitute any great persian word for "Persian". Also, maybe use the Persian word for "brothers".
