Name For An Eye Centre

wanted suggestions for a new eye centre... having all eye care facilities under one roof.eg PRISTINE VISION CENTRE.

    Where is it, what does it specialize in and who would want to use it instead of going to an optician, their doctor or the emergency ward?

    Think of why someone would use your facilities - look at it from their perspective - and suddenly the questions almost answer themselves.

    Otherwise, tell us all about it (ie the questions above) and we'll get back to you, okay?

    It is a centre for treating any eye diseases, specializing in lasers, eye surgeries bothretina and cataract , even laser vision correction in Mumbai.

    So you are super-special. Why do people choose you - or are they referred by a doctor (general practitioner) or even by another hospital?? What connection do you have to the state medical system (I'm thinking of European countries here - I don't know the way your healthcare systems work, apols. You'll have to fill in the gaps for me here!)

    Are there any others in your area - Mumbai is huge after all, bigger than New York by a considerable margin.

    Are there any historical figures who are from your surgical expertise that you could use? I'm thinking historical because if you use your current specialist's name, you've boxed yourself in when he starts thinking of retiring!

    The Eye - you can have this in both languages,
    ............ or even, in Hindi and "the eye" in reflected letters ;-) A simple name like that would work.
    आंख - The Eye (I shoved it through translate - my Hindi is limited to Chai and Dhobi and Wallah, I can still do a salaam though).

    What are your thoughts?

    People normally come to us through word of mouth publicity(patient to patient) or are refered by a GP.hardly any connection with the government centres, so we are essentially a private setup.

    There are many eye centres in Mumbai, therefore a catchy name would help to highlight the centre.

    Word of mouth is fantastic. Can you share with us what they are saying about you? This is crucial as it is the key to getting more people like them using online/offline advertising. That starts with your name of course. If it all ties in, you've got a branded package that'll turn faces.

    Did you want the name of your center to be in English or Marathi? Do you think your clients will be more inclined to go to a center with an English name or Marathi?

    We would prefer an english name , definitely not marathi as mumbai is a cosmopolitan city, with a lot of scope for medical tourism.Something that sounds professional but not boring. Thanks .
