Assistance Naming Charity Concert/raffle

Posted by mroyce on 250 Points
I am the chairwoman of a nonprofit organization that assists families and friends of innocent murder victims in various ways ranging from financial to emotional. Currently I am organizing a benefit concert and raffle, but I am having trouble thinking of a great name for the event. If successful, this concert will be a yearly event. We have a handful of well-known local rock bands confirmed. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

How about, Innocence Shines Bright ("Innocence Is Brilliant" lyrics)

Thank you, Steve. I was trying to avoid certain words that could be misleading. I originally thought Rock for the Lost but worried that implied missing persons. My first thought upon seeing "innocence" is of young children, and, while sadly there have been many young children murdered in Tucson over the years, I would not want others to have the same misconception. Is it just me? I appreciate you taking the time to weigh in! I shall keep your suggestion in mind.

Melissa, I don't know if the word "innocence" necessarily means or connotes only children for your target audience. You would have to ask some of them for feedback. I think the challenge here is to find a name that, while not upbeat, isn't a buzz killer for the concert.

btw - you're going to have a lot of musical talent for this event. Maybe you could add a songwriting contest that speaks specifically to your message. With an accompanying video production, it could go viral on YouTube and the like.
