Charter School E-newsletter

Posted by Anonymous on 50 Points
Any good ideas for a charter school e-newsletter name? We need a name for three different newsletters: one for internal (students and parents), one for external (community), and one for board members. We don't want to incorporate our school name or slogans, so the door is pretty wide open.

Our charter school is for a low income area, so intricate names for the internal e-newsletter won't do. If it helps, we call our students "scholars." Other than that, anything goes!

Is there anything special that marks out your school in your community that would make a good name - and be instantly recognizable by them as being from you?

Because you could call the newsletter anything - the only problem being that it wouldn't actually mean anything at all. To anybody. It would take time and effort to get it known as *your* newsletter.

    How about

    Local Scholars [parents/board members]
    The Local
    Nearby

We're quite new, rapidly growing, and our focus is 'on a brighter path.' I should have said that to begin with!

Shining Scholars, Star Scholars, Scholar Stars or maybe even 'Brighter Paths'? I like the focus of the word scholar though, I feel it will appeal more to your students!
