Rebranding A Car Rental Company

We are rebranding our car renatl company. We have added a new division which offers supply and fitment of motor vehicle glass (windscreens, door glass ect.

We are looking for a short and catchy name incorporating both services!

Any suggestions will help!

We are based in Umhlanga Rocks Durban South Africa, and service the entire province.

    Hi lady, I think it's gonna be difficult having a short name with a meaning of two services. Look at these exemple. Maybe you can use some.

    Stop & Go Car Rental
    Road Car Rental

    The two businesses are car rental and car glass repairs? And you want one name for both services? I would instead consider branding them as 2 separate businesses, as the businesses are different. keep the car rental business under its current name (assuming that the name has some name recognition) and create a new name for the repair business.

    There does seem to be some benefit to having the two businesses together. If someone needs work on their car and it will take a while, you can then rent them a car to use while the repair is being done. This is assuming the repairs do take some time, which for glass work, I am not sure is always true (the last time I had a windshield replaced on my car, it was done in an hour or two). I am just not sure there is a benefit to having the two businesses named the same.

    I happen to think Peter's right on this one - however I'm going to run with your idea and try to come up with some names that might fit the bill.

    Well, you did ask, didn't you ;-)

    Now: I'm going to run with the quick service angle on this,which can apply to both your services. Therefore you can use the same branding/imaging with the exchange of one word (rental/window).

    Doorstep! We're at your doorstep when you need us. [You'll have to add the windows and rentals later ;-) ]

    Tints rents & replacements. car rental & window replacement [never, ever trust a marketer to keep their word]

    If it's not too late, keep the businesses separate, or at least make your motor glass a "division" of your rental business. My thinking is that each of these "businesses" would attract different people for different reasons. Instead of jumbling up the message to say "we do a little of this and a little of that", keep each business's marketing on-target.
