Know-How Exchange : Taglines/Names

There are a great number of natural soaps on the market. I use one myself and it's made by a small company around 5 miles from my home. I've used it for years and the rose scent makes my bathroom smell wonderful. That alone is worth the modest extra cost, leave alone the all natural (organic) ingredients.

Now you could always choose "Francine's Speials" or "Francine's Facials". However it doesn't tell people much about what makes your soap special. The people who make my soap distribute it through Odin and other local shops and distributors (https://odinwinkel.nl/rozenzeep.html - pas op! dit is in het Nederlands). They're none of them big on marketing either.

If you're not sure about what makes your soap special, take a look online to see what others are doing. You can find out very quickly what they are - and aren't - doing or offering.

The name shouldn't be so much about what you do or sell as about the unique positioning benefit you offer your primary target audience.

So who is your primary target audience? Where? What are they using today that you would hope to displace? Why might they consider switching to your brand? How are they going to find out you exist?
