Iso Catchy Fun Name For An Indoor Playground

Posted by arbelaezn on 250 Points
Hi, I am about to open a unique indoor playground for kids 1-7.
The concept is completely new, as all of the equipment has movement (imagine tiny marry go rounds, electric swings, and electric teeter totters among others). It is like a six flags for little kids. All equipment is very colorful and padded.

I have the name: Jiggleville and the tag line: where nothing sits still

I think the name and tag line portray what we are offering, and it's also fun and catchy, but I'm worried about the connotations of "jiggle". I also love the use of "ville" as it is clear we are talking about a destination.

Please note that we cannot use the following words for the name:
Wiggle/Giggle/kids

I very much appreciate any input for this

Warmly,
Natalia

Please bear in mind that I'm 50 and waiting for my two offspring to provide me with the necessaries (their babies). All of which means I'm out of touch with the latest fads ... anyway, here goes:

Jingleville.com is available - which probably means it's not being used elsewhere
Frangleville (I just invented that!) [which probably means it's extremely rude]
Franglefarm [along the idea you had for ville]
    Dangle won't do ...

    Are these any good?

    Thank you for your response

I wonder if it is just that I am being too sensitive regarding the use of the word jiggle.

To be honest there was a lecturer at uni who liked "jiggle physics" - all to do with the movement of mammary glands - somehow I didn't take him seriously.

Ask your friends and local mums if they think it's in any way offensive - if you have the opportunity, do a swift display network campaign and see which name comes out top for the demographic you're seeking. After all, they might think it's fine where others find it offensive - everyone else doesn't matter as long as your customers are happy :-)

No probs, just remember your customers are the ones who count!

Your name choice may be regionally-sensitive. Rather than have us each share our personal belief, it's likely a good idea for you to test the name on parents in your area. What do THEY think Jiggleville connotes?

    Thank you for your answers.
I did a focus group on moms for the name and a great amount if the participants referred to negative body images immediately.
I am still looking for something catchy and that also shows movement.
Thank you all again, this is a wonderful forum!
