Topic: Taglines/Names

Newton & Strauss ( Wedding Dress Showroom)

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
Hey all. We are a new bridal shop. We are a small shop, designing and importing dresses to hire and buy. We are fun, and on trend, changing wedding dress shopping traditions in South Africa .

We need a tagline that is non traditional and original.

Ps: keep in mind, we have fake grass in our shop, providing a relaxed and comfortable space for choosing a wedding dress.

Thanks Ansunel

Firstly, I love the name. Sadly, on Google all I could see was your server login ... :-(

    Never mind. Down to business.

Now I've not been in ZA for around three decades ... so trendy to me means something quite different from what it will to you. I'm going to start with your grass and work out from there, and if there's something that catches your eye, tell me. If it suggests something else to you that's better, that's fantastic. One point of issue: your tagline it to attract customers. That means aiming at them, letting them take the lead.

    Weddings on the lawn
Trendy, fun and memorable lawns inside and out ..............[wordy]
    Changing with the trends
You change, we change, weddings change - it'll be memorable
Your trend, our trend: for memorable weddings.

And no hire or buy yet. Can't seem to squeeze it in ...

for a Relaxed, trendy and modern wedding .......[and you can see how I work]
Memorable and modern weddings, hire or buy.

There! Only it's not very good ... has this given you any ideas?

You could make a free wordpress site and pop it on there - that's one work around.

I live in Europe, and it's getting late here too. Good luck with the discussions.

This works better - you put an @ where you should have had a dot.

What have folk said about the upside down & sign? I'm still thinking about those lovely grassy lawns in your shop ...
