Naming Of Packages For A Closet Storage

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
Hi, I have recently joined as the BDM for a closet storage firm. Basically its a self storage business providing the consumers a facility to store their stuff with us and make space in their home. Ranging from small to big items to store, we have various pricing brackets.

I am looking for help in suggesting me names for the packages. In total I have nine packages. Something innovative and attracting to consumers. Thanks In advance.

Regards Pooja

In my experience, the customer experience in such warehouses isn't that great, is it? Lines of grey boxes and fluorescent lighting and bare concrete floors - the only thing that's nice about it are the people on the service desk.

So you don't want to describe these things as penthouses or palaces simply because when people arrive and find your top of the range "palace" is little more than a grey box that happens to be bigger than the other ones. We're talking practicalities, and it's practicalities that people need and want. More to the point, your names need to reflect this.

Now that I've sort-of landed in your space as it were, I can come up with some ideas. Thoughts ran to a series "suitcase"-"trunk" ... but what then? They are storage solutions that have to do with travel after all.

So what do people use these things for - I did when I moved to Europe; the stuff I couldn't stuff in the lorry went in a box for later. It was grey and the lighting was fluorescent and the floor concrete. Indoors you'd not have known if you were in Beijing or Johannesburg.

    You could have

    micro-milli-mini-standard-deca-mega-monster-giga-tera-

not very clever or illuminating. But these are grey boxes in a grey warehouse. Is there anything you could add that would give us a little inspiration here?

You could have them as towns, countries - or capital cities?

Small to large - Monaco, Madrid, Moscow, Mexico, Manhattan (your standard, most popular model), and some others that would complete the series in terms of scale.

What are the sizes of each of the nine spaces?
    Where are you located?
What's the name of the business?

Nine's a lot of names to carry and get customers to think about - it might be easier to group them to guide the decision. To follow on Gemma's colour theme...

    Petit Pink (1 - 2 - 3) [Light, Mid, Max]
    Basic Blue (4 - 5 - 6)
    Hulking Grey (7 - 8 - 9)
