Tagline For A Manufacturing Company

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
Hello Everyone,

I am taking over my fathers business of 35+years and working on providing a facelift to his company with a new logo and tagline. Logo has been finalized but I need help with tagline that could go with it.

We are into manufacturing of Anchor Grip Wedges that are used in various industries such as construction, railways and electric poles. These are not customer facing products. Although they are used for creating end-user products.

My father has always believed in three things... Quality of his product, Relation with his customers and timely delivery of his promises.

Please help me with some creative taglines. Thank you.

So who are your customers? Where? How do they make purchase decisions for anchor grip wedges? While I respect the values your father espouses, what's more important for your tagline is whatever is most important to your customers -- those folks who send you money.

What is your current tagline? Changing a tagline just to refresh the company's image may not be the best idea. We're happy to offer thoughts, but we'd hate to contribute to anything that could work against you, so we should consider the overall objective before we start throwing words and phrases around.

What's the name of the company? Do you have a website? How do new customers find you?

Whilst your business isn't customer facing, you still have customers - and as with all customers there'll be those who really appreciate what you do.

So my first suggestion is to look at what these people say about you when referring you. After all, they're telling others about what you do best - and concentrating on this area does wonders for a tagline.

Now I don't know an Anchor Grip Wedge from a killock, so my answers will be more generic. You can of course add something or change a word to make them more effective.

    How about

    anchored in tradition
    anchored in quality
    keeping your industry satisfied
    satisfyingly traditional

What do you think? Mix 'n Match [TM]
