good day,

I am trying to come up with a name to call a beauty contest that will focus on the conservation of culture as well as educate on the importance of culture.

    its somewhere in Zambia. you know how africa boasts of it culture, saddly alot of young women nowadays have lost touch of it and dont know musch of it. so thought of promoting it through a beauty contest.

    I can agree with you, Angela. There is way too much wanting to be white when black's better - and I'm white and was born near Ndola. No need to tell you where that is.

    African Colours, African Culture, African Beauty
    Local, African, Beautiful
    Be Yourself, Be Africa

    you could replace "Africa" with "Zambia" of course.

    i pray this venture will be a success cause its so sad to see how we are not so proud of our culture. it really saddens me.

    I agree with you 100%. I wish you the best of luck in bringing the life and culture back!!

    Mind you, because Europeans are "proud of their culture" - it's usually something they just accept, and then promptly forget about!! They'll drive a road through a picturesque village so they can get to the football stadium faster ....
