Why would someone care that your team is mother/daughter? How does that relationship help your client? Who specifically do you want to work with? Why? Where? What makes you special in the eyes of your clients?

Well, why should someone care? Because there's a relationship there, and business is a relationship. At least, the best business is a relationship. The rest is just Walmart stuff, always cheaper. Then cheaper again. So, yes, a relationship between mum and daughter ought to say a lot to your better class of customer.

So these people are looking - if only subconsciously - for a relationship that they can join in, as it were. Put better, they'll feel more comfortable when they know that you both have a stable relationship yet have totally different personalities. It means their different personality can meld in as well. So let's turn this "relationship" you have to better purposes, because it provides you both with the kind of welcome that this kind of client wishes to have.

Do you follow my thinking here?

So my thoughts run to expressing the stability that you two have as a partnership, as well as it's open sharing nature. After all, you'd not be in business but for wanting to share!

You could have "Smith & Brown Realtors - making you feel part of our family" which doesn't quite come out right because of the two different names, but you get my drift.

What are your thoughts on this, and has this approach spoken to you? If so, what has it sparked, what can you add and what can you share with us that'll give us some better ideas?
