Need help to find a name that's -
original, unique, Catchy, trendy, young yet professional and easy to pronnounce.

Few things about the company-
1. Its a start-up, proprietor driven
2. The company was set up with a view to meet the professional talent requirements of companies. It's mission is to facilitate recruitment of the right talent for the employer within a stipulated time frame and be the best Human Resource service provider.
3. Will focus mostly on top-level/senior level placements.

The mission sounds like that of every recruitment firm out there. What makes you any different from, and better than your competitors? How would a client company know if you are really "the best Human Resource service provider?" What criteria would they use to evaluate your service?

You probably need to do some serious market research among your target audience, if you haven't already. Otherwise you're just guessing at what they want, need, and think about when they select a recruitment firm.

Do you have a business plan? A marketing plan? How are the right people going to find you or know you exist?

mgoodman - the question is not about the marketing plan. Its about the name. Its very clear that obviously the target audience are organisation, and most importantly, the senior levels will be sr. general managers, vp etc. and its a city based placement organisation.

saul.dobney and Moriarty - I haven't like those.....altho' zeroin sounds better, am expecting something much more catchier and unique. An eg to it is workosaur (its an job search engine). Am open to french/greek/latin name. But please note tht the target market is India.

French/Greek/Latin - oh, dear. My French is rather rusty and I gave up Greek and Latin as soon as they got me the wherewithal to get into uni!

Since it's India - how about Rajah Recruitment? After all, your prospects are aiming at that kind of level, aren't they?

    Regal Recruitment (same comment)
Tyrannosaurus Rex (you did want Greek and Latin ;-) )
    Recruitosaurus
Top Predator (as in head hunters).

    Any better?

For your audience, a catchier name is probably the least important part of your business. Senior people like to deal with serious senior people, not someone who sounds like they work for a brand of toys, or with a name that might be unfashionable in the future. In reality, the best way forwards is to put your name and your reputation in the business name. It's the relationships you build that will make or break the business and the name itself is almost irrelevant for a headhunter. People recruiting for senior people also aren't looking for someone who's just after a job. They want someone who going to commit to the business and its people, not just a professional team player.

    Who did you ask?

Did do a dip stick study with few of my potential clients and friends. :)
However, I've managed to get a name (thru' similar brain storming exercise). The same was more appreciated.
