Catchy Name For Volunteer Get-together

Posted by jessicasayer on 250 Points
The Center for the Visual Arts is hosting a volunteer get-together, during which volunteers will

-Meet new staff members and other volunteers
-View and learn about current exhibits
-Participate in new volunteer training
-Learn about volunteer support systems

We use the abbreviation CVA and would like to incorporate the word 'connect' or 'connection' (i.e. CVA Volunteer Connect)

It's important we create a specific name because we hope to use it for future get-togethers.

Many thanks

I vote for relevance over "catchy". What do the initials CVA stand for?

Is the name just for volunteer-related events/trainings? Is the goal for these events to gain more volunteers, strengthen existing bonds, or teach them new skills? Why do the volunteers love volunteering? What draws them to your organization?

I'd skip the "catchy" part and go for a name that communicates clearly what the group is/does. Best, of course, if it captures a benefit or emotional payoff for your target audience (the volunteers themselves).

    Why not: "CVA Volunteer Connection?"
