Expert In Seo And Social Media

I am looking for a highly reputable SEO and social media company or person who can work on a not for profit health care site. We want to boost our rankings and utilize social media to set ourselves up as the expert in senior care in the New York area. I need someone who has a proven track record and can show us positive results achieved for other clients' online presence. This would be an ongoing annual gig.     I have passed your request on to an expert (with great credentials) in NYC. We'll have to see whether there's any interest, of course. She may or may not be available. The really good people are in high demand.

    the advertising red book list advertising firms by geography, specialization, and industries served. It is available online and in many local business libraries.

    Someone who is skilled in SEO may not have the skill set you're looking for in social media (and vice versa). Good luck with your search.

    Why do you need a local vendor? In your market, you will actually probably pay more for a local vendor and since it is all digital and there is Skype in this world, there really is no need.

    I've worked with two companies for SEO that I would recommend, neither are in NYC though. Brendon Turner at https://www.webdevcompany.com/ and Mary Bowling at https://www.marybowling.com/ are both excellent.

    You'll probably want a different company for social, or at least it is a whole different product. I would be interested in helping you with social, but again, I'm not in your area. Feel free to contact me if you are interested.

    If you absolutely need someone in NYC, you might want to check out the ClickZ Live Conference that is there next week - it will be FILLED with SEO/SEM professionals who are at the top of their game. You can get a networking pass in advance for free, so you could go to the conference and talk to people https://www.clickzlive.com/newyork/rates-pass-details.php and make some connections there with some local folks. Also, I'm sure the hotel bar will be brimming with industry people as well and they would be pretty excited to meet a client at a conference.

    As a rule I'd stay away from anyone who "guarantees" a ranking ("I'll get you first place on Google!" etc.) - those people are never on the up & up. For social, make sure you look at the interaction with posts instead of just Likes and make sure the posts are focused on getting people back to your website or to take some kind of action (sign up for email alerts, give money, etc.) because really that is the whole point.

    thanks so much for your valuable answer. I would be interested in having you handle the social but the reason I feel that it needs to be someone more local is that this is for a client whose outreach is strictly to local Brooklynites. not national. you would need to be familiar with the more hyper-local media.
