Looking For A Tagline

Posted by vistarestaurant on 250 Points
We are in need of a tagline for our print/online advertising. We are a Tuscan Grill on a golf course with gorgeous views, delicious food and we have a piano player that plays nightly. All i have so far is:
voluptuous views, divine dining, exquisite entertainment..

Why do you feel you need a tagline? What do you expect it to do for you? What do you want it to communicate?

Side issue: The rotating images on the homepage have only one hint of the presence of a human -- the guy staring off to the left (his right) with his mouth open. Are you intentionally avoiding showing happy customers? Why?

We would like it to be an enticement to come to vista. Side note: that's our piano player singing. I agree we need some guests. Thanks for that.

First impression is that the guy is trying to get a waiter's attention. Once you understand that this is a piano player singing, you wonder if anybody is listening/enjoying. Otherwise, he's just practicing in an empty restaurant before it opens. And it wouldn't be a bad idea to actually show part of the keyboard, so it's obvious what he's doing. You're assuming everyone will notice and recognize the reflection off the top of the grand piano.

As for "enticement," the thing that would entice me is the expectation that this is going to be an enjoyable dining experience. And showing that visually will be far more powerful than a tagline, IMHO. Show me the people (with whom I might identify) having a great time. Pictures of an empty diningroom or a golf course with mountains in the background just don't get those juices flowing. Ditto a shot of the piano player or some food on a plate.

    Hi
Why are you giving that much importance to the piano player? Is he a very (but very very) well known piano player there? From your website I can see many other interesting features like cuisine, spaces and views.

But if you are so willing to have the tagline, keep in mind that you do have a lot of words at your logo: "A Tuscan Grill" + "Vista" + "At Arrowhead". One more sentence may be too much, but it´s your business and you know better. My suggestions:
    - Grill & Piano with Views
    - Lunch & Dinner with mountain and golf views

    Good luck!
