Need Help Naming Our Annual Fundraiser!

Posted by melissa on 250 Points
Children's Future International, an international nonprofit working in Cambodia and headquartered in Denver, CO is trying to come up with a name for its 2nd annual fundraiser. Last year, we called the event "Seeds to Leaves" but we realized that it actually makes us think of a gardening organization. This year, the event is 10/16/14 and will include Asian food prepared by a chef that cooks for celebrities. We are thinking of an event name/theme that has something to do with Asia, Asian food, children, youth, or education. We would like a fun name that entices all ages to attend. Any suggestions?

A little bit about us:

Children's Future believes that individual transformation is necessary to rebuild a generation of professionals lost by genocide in Cambodia. Every day our comprehensive programs nurture and educate the most resource poor children because too many are forced to survive without the dignity or opportunity necessary to realize their potential.

Who is your primary target audience? Is it the folks who already know and support the organization, or are you trying to broaden the base? If the latter, you need to further refine the definition of who these folks are.

Our primary target will be our current supporters. Our secondary target is to broaden the base to include people who are interested in Southeast Asia, either having traveled there and understanding a bit about where we are working, or would like to visit. Another group would be people interested in children and youth services, but I think that broadens our scope a bit too far.
