Athlete Recover Center

Posted by Anonymous on 500 Points
Hi There,

I'm looking for some feedback with regard to a name and possibly a tagline that can best describe my new startup.

Basically I will be opening an athlete recovery center inside a crossfit gym. I will have approximately 2500 square feet dedicated to athlete recovery services.

Over 50% of the space will be dedicated to recover tools that most athletes don't have access to because they are too expensive. Tools will consist of Normatec compression boots, Alter G treadmill, cold tubs and so on. There will be a retail space in which we will have a small selection of apparel, footwear, nutrition for after workouts and crossfit inspired gears.
We will also include practitioners such as massage therapists and physiotherapist.

The facility will be membership based similar to a gym.

Since it's inside a gym and will likely be advertised with the gym-

    The Recovery Center
    "Specialized Recovery Tools and Therapists"

Any drawbacks to these names; in particular having "Lab" in the name? We plan having outlined recovery protocols/procedures.

    Athlete Recovery Lab

    or

    Athletica
    Sports Recovery Lab

The thinking to drive science into it is good, but "Lab" has connations of testing and experimentation. The majority of people likely prefer proven equipment and techniques. "Lab" may spur some slight level of unease among potential customers.

Would you like us to take you and your broken leg to a medical lab or a medical center?
