Stress Management Weight Loss Workshop

Posted by beradiant on 250 Points
Hi Everyone,

This is my first time using the site. I'm stuck and need some help finding a title for a combination stress management/weight loss workshop. The interactive workshop will help people understand some hidden reasons why it can be hard to lose weight even if the person is eating healthy and exercising. I will use an innovative holistic approach fusing stress management strategies such as Qigong (an internal Chinese practice that gave birth to the martial arts), lifestyle strategies, etc. I want the title to be simple, yet alluring enough to attract busy professionals and not too woo-woo sounding. I want a contemporary, cutting edge title for everyday folks who may not know much about the holistic world. I'd greatly appreciate any ideas you may have, Thanks!

Is this for a tagline or a business name or a new product/offering name for an existing business? Where?

Thanks so much for posting Jay, I'm liking your idea of Ancient Secrets and weight loss, but can't figure out how to put the stress piece in.

While it's clear to you that weight loss and stress reduction are interrelated, it may not be so clear to prospective clients. And when you throw "ancient secrets" into the mix, I suspect you're asking for people to ignore/forget all thee elements.

I'd keep the name (or tagline, or whatever it is) as simple as possible. Perhaps use "natural wellness" as the umbrella thought. When you make a name or tagline too complicated (i.e., too many component parts) people don't retain anything. If you keep it simple you have a chance that it will stick.

Yes, mgoodman, my tagline is "Guiding You on Your Path to Radiant Health" and my business name is Radiant Health Strategies.

Great points, mgoodman. I'm struggling with keeping the title simple, yet complete. Perhaps I ought to focus on just stress management for the title and then add weight loss as an added benefit in the flyer I'm putting together. Still mulling it over ...

My guess is weight loss will be the more tangible benefit that will attract clients. Stress reduction is harder to measure. I think stress reduction will be a perceived secondary benefit.

Thanks everyone. I'm going to share these ideas with my business partner to see what rises to the top for us. Saul, your ideas are closer to what I'm looking for. I want to stay away from the word diet because I'm teaching lifestyle practices, but I want something short enough to attract the people who need the info. Gotta decide in the next day or so. Let me know if any other ideas come to mind. After I hear back from the team, I'll accept the answer of choice and close the question. I've never been so stuck on a title! You all are great thanks!
