Since the business rests on who you are, your names or location will be the best starting point. People who know you will know the business is you and recommend friends. It will be unique and show you place your name and reputation on the things you make,

Then you get John Smith Restorations / Woodworks / Carpentry / Cabinetmakers / World of Wood / Wood designs / Woodmasters / Master Craftsman / Furniture / Handmade Decor

Why does a name have to be "catchy"? What might your reaction be if someone asked for one of your products to be "woody"? Or for it to be "woodier"? Then what?

On a side note, be sure to draw up (and sign and have witnessed by a notary) contracts that clearly spell out responsibilities and demarcation of all parties: relatives, friends, or not. And be sure to separate out finances so that no one individual has control. CYA and all that.

Will you be strictly doing custom work or will you be selling crafts that happen to be made from wood? Who specifically is likely to be your target audience - locals or vacationers or ? Why would they be interested in your products - instead of buying them at a department store (such as IKEA)?

Who is your primary target audience? Where? What's important to them? How will they learn about you?
