Just Starting Out With Branding... Please Help!!!

Posted by IRMEDIAA on 25 Points
So i just got offered a job with a new record company to make them a logo. But me being the go getter i am. I decided to create them a business branding proposal. I am a experienced graphic designer but i've never stepped in this genera before. The project came out great i spent roughly 16 hours on creating the presentation and now my question to you is what should i charge them for it. lets say they love it and want beyond the logo they want it all. Again this is my first attempt at brand management... If you need more info please ask. Thank you in advance for your help.

What to charge depends on (a) what YOU think it's worth, and (b) what it should be worth to them. If you can show them that it's worth a lot then you can charge a lot. The question becomes whether you can demonstrate the high value of the project convincingly enough to justify a high fee.

You need to put on your business hat and show them why your proposal represents a smart thing for them to accept. If you can show them an attractive ROI, they'll pay what you ask.

If you ask too little, the client will know that what you are proposing isn't worth very much.
