Know-How Exchange : Taglines/Names

Are you looking for a domain name and/or a brick-and-mortar business? Besides GF - what's especially delicious about your products? Where's your target market located? How do your products compare to other GF (and non-GF) bakeries?

If you are "currently researching into opening a gluten free homemade cake / goodies business," then it may be premature to be thinking about a name. Usually the business plan and marketing plan come before the name. After all, you want the name to reflect and support the positioning of your business, and to be consistent with everything else in your marketing plan.

While GF is clearly desired by a growing number of consumers, they still want cake and goodies that are delicious. If your positioning is strictly focused on GF people will just assume the goodies taste like cardboard. Better to tell them the food is delicious and, secondarily, it's GF.

P.S. If your cakes and goodies are NOT delicious, nobody will care if they are GF or not.
