Tagline Ideas For Training & Development Consutant

Posted by Anonymous on 125 Points
I am starting a new business as a Training & Development / eLearning Consultant. I do not have a company name, I was just going to use my own name, but I would like a creative and catchy tagline. Everything I have thought of sounds too "stuffy". Keywords:

eLearning
Design
Development
Performance
Training
Learning

I would love to hear your ideas!

"Catchy" will just get in the way. Better to have a tagline that will tell your target audience what makes you different from, and better than, all the other folks who do what you do. Focus on the key benefit for them.

And I'd recommend that you consider a business name other than just your own name. Ideally the name and tagline will work together to communicate a clear and important benefit to your primary target audience. Your name alone isn't likely to do that unless you are already very well known for what you do.

Tell us who the target audience is and what makes you different/better. We'll suggest some name-and-tagline combinations that will be more effective than your [personal] name and a catchy phrase.

Thank you, that is good advice.I don't have a clue where to start with a name...

Target audience will be small - medium companies. Thee typically don't have training development staff and contract out projects.

Benefits, what sets me apart: Creative, Professional, personal touch, experienced

Service - creating engaging, fun, effective training

Results for customer - well trained, effective employees, brought up to speed quickly, productive staff

Could you give us an example or two of clients you've worked with, what you did for them, and how this helped their bottom-line? Without specifics, I'm afraid all we can offer are generic naming suggestions.

    Examples
    - blood bank, designed and developed technical eLearning modules for them.
    - Tax firm, developed a new hire on-boarding training program
    - Training & Development organization, delivered a session on training development techniques at a conference

I appreciate the advice, but no one has suggested any company names or tag lines. Any ideas?
