Change In Ownership Looking For A New Name

Posted by smkinnun on 125 Points
A party store in a small town goes by 'Rons' Party Store', but we are looking at purchasing it and want to re-name it. However everything we think of or see seems too cheesy. I.E. The Party Store, The Corner Store, Main St. Party, etc. It's a store on the corner of the main drag and makes most of the sales on liquor and lotto. Any input would be appreciated.

First, why do you want to rename it? Is there a problem from which you want to distance yourself?

One option is to replace "Ron's" with the name of your town, or some local landmark/nickname. So:

    TownName Party Store

Another is to inject some excitement, while still keeping the word "Party" as the core of the name:

    Let's Party!

There's no reason to change the name besides the fact that it's named after the owner and we won't be associated with him after purchasing it. I guess it's not a necessity, but more of a desire. I do think the town name could work alright. Thanks for your feedback.

Exaggerate the C, the P, and the S, size-wise on the sign.
    Corner Party Store
The cool folks would call it CPS.
