Who is your ideal client and what are their psychological pain points?

    Is this you? https://www.evekilmer.com

If it is, why not restate something you're already known for?

Who is your primary target audience? Does your practice have a name other than YOUR name? What do you want your tagline to communicate? How will you evaluate our suggestions? What are the success criteria? If we know these things, there's a good chance we can come up with a great solution for you.

    Hi Gary,
Thank you so much for getting back to me so quickly. My ideal client is 18-65 and has one of the following issues: anxiety, perfectionism, going through a divorce, needs couples therapy, is interested in group therapy or has an eating disorder. Preferably they can also pay out-of-pocket at $130/session.

Since it'll be very hard to convey your list of issues in a tagline, and presumably you're not satisfied with your existing tagline (which says that you offer therapy for adults), then it's probably a good idea for you to explain how you differentiate yourself from other therapists in your region. Why do people recommend you to others? If you're the Best of Boulder Award winner for 2015, then Gary's suggestion could work well for you.

Yes, that makes sense. Thank you so much for your input.

A general positive / professional promise

    - Mastering the human condition -

or a similar feel but with a bit more direct & purposeful

    - Confronting the human condition -

    A supportive promise

    - Guiding minds well -

Or you could shorten it to make it more direct

    - Guiding minds -

    And another supportive promise

    - Cure through care -

Or a playful, more memorable promise, one that has a bit of personality

    - Obsessively compulsive care -

    Hope these help.
I think I could really use a session, I think I am a bit plagued by perfectionism. I never knew there was a special therapy for that.
