Tagline For The New York Performing Arts Academy

Posted by john on 125 Points
We are looking for a tagline for the organization. We train students in acting, vocal training, dance. As a non profit we make tuition affordable or at no cost to the student if they pass the audition process. The academy trains students as young as 7 and have students in their 60s. Our instructors are all highly respected professionals in their fields and have attained a level of celebrity and are recognizable on the street. Our students can be seen in tv, film, commercials and our most successful alumn would be Hudson Yang (the child star of "Fresh Off The Boat"). I know we wrote a bunch of information but we thought having the background would help. Thank you.

You left out the most important things: Who is the target audience? Why do you want a tagline? What do you want the tagline to communicate or do for you? Why should your target audience care? What's in it for them?

What you DO, and who you ARE, are not nearly as important as the perceived benefit you deliver for your target audience. Help us understand who they are and what benefit you provide for them.

Thank you for your questions. Ill do my best answering. Our target audience would be aspiring actors/singers/dancers ages 7 to 99 and decision makers. We wanted the tagline to communicate that regardless of age, economic status, background, there is a place in the arts for everyone and our staff of instructors who are highly respected working professionals in their field are there to put them on the path to success/fame.

I just spent a little time visiting your website, and I might suggest a bit of marketing planning, starting with a SWOT analysis created by your staff (with a trained facilitator, if possible). If you want to discuss, contact me via the email address in my profile.
