Looking For Tagline/slogan For Handmade Business

Posted by kaitlynstephens0923 on 250 Points
I am creating my business cards and would like something that gives people an idea of what I do. I am a crafter, and there is nothing I don’t do and won’t try. I make everything from shirts (screen printing) to signs and tumblers. A Girl Inspired just doesn’t give enough info.

Do you have a business name?
What specifically are you wanting to offer your clients? Who are they?
Crafting is about you. What is it that you can do for others that they can't easily get done (or find a source for)?

You say you "would like something that gives people an idea of what I do." I think you are asking the wrong question. People don't CARE what you do. They would much rather know how they can benefit from what you do -- What's in it for THEM?

At another level, you're trying to fit a square peg in a round hole. You want to deliver whatever people want. Instead, figure out what important benefit prospective customers are going to want (and search for), and become the best possible provider of that. When you promise to solve all problems, people will assume you can't really solve anything. You'd be much better off focusing on one thing. Nobody searches for "someone who can do everything."
