Looking For A Name For A New Online Talk Show.

Posted by ingridjennings on 250 Points
I am interested in creating a platform for a new online talk show. Topics to be aired will cover everything from celebrities, sport, charitable events to real life stories. It is to be a light hearted talk show with loads of laughs and smart coversations which offers Australians a fun and engaging 10min session, which engages viewers at home via social media.

You would do yourself a favor by being more specific with regard to your primary target audience and your content/appeal. What's in it for a person in the target audience to watch/listen? How will their lives be better/richer?

How are people going to find out about your show?

My audience would be sectioned into two demographics I think. There's the savvy social mid 20's/30's male/female who enjoy work/play living (I think more female skewed ) and like to keep up with the entertainment news and latest trends and then there's another demographic which I see as being 30's mums who like to keep up with real life stories and latest new products on the market.

My content will be short 10 minutes guest appearances, in the form of a weekly series perhaps aired 6/7pm each week (not sure what day), from anyone who I believe is 'on trend, particularly in Australia (at the beginning for logistical reasons for studio appearances)'. For example, Nick Kyrios would have been a great interview on the back of the Australian Open 2018 which just finished. Jelena Dokic who just released her new autobiography. Or on the other hand, celebrity names could be Chris Hemsworth's wife on how she keeps family life balanced or The Irwins (steve irwins family). Again to keep it interesting let's speak to a worthy charity and what they're doing to help people offshore or in our back yard. (feel good)
I would also like to offer a fun 'spin the wheel' in the weekly segment on the back of the interview so one lucky follower can win a prize provided by various companies. Bigger picture will be to produce a paid infomercial segment once I get enough followers.

What's in it for the audience? I want to make them feel good. Be able to switch off from daily stress and enjoy 10mins of chill and unwind . Make them feel empowered, inspired, happy and gain some useful knowledge.

A teaser campaign releasing the first season of the show through Facebook and Instagram and the shows date/time for airing. It would be highly visual and catchy.
