Thank You for the feedback, Jay. I have the answers to your questions. Thank You again
Who's the audience for the program?
College students who are involved on campus
    Where will the program occur?
At Denison University, most likely on a Saturday. This just needs to be a simple and catchy 3-10 letter name, though
What specifically do you mean by "digital identity and social media leadership"?
I am intending the program to be centered on how one could be an effective leader on social media while making a positive difference, as opposed to negatively using social media. It's all about putting things into perspective and providing workshops to students who use social media, and letting them know how they can use it to lead as opposed to use in a negative sense.

Thank You for your feedback, Michael. I have some answers to your question::
Who and where is your primary target audience?
The primary audience for this program is college-aged students in a college setting. They also use social media daily and would like to learn how to be a leader on social media.
What do you want them to do or believe?
I would want them to actively participate throughout the program while believing in their ability to make a positive difference on social media as a leader.
What's in it for them to do whatever it is you want them to do?
They would be able to have the knowledge to use social media affectively to lead and attract potential employers the right way, as opposed to social media use that could be reputation-damaging. They would also receive a certificate for completing the program.
    Thank You I appreciate it!

    Hey Jay,
All good suggestions. However, I'd like for the name to be just a catchy word or phrase- only about 3-10 letters. To give you some ideas, my school also has leadership programs called "Stretch" and "Connect". This name should be formatted similarly. Thank You!

    With reference to your comment:
    ‘To give you some ideas, my school also has leadership programs called "Stretch" and "Connect". This name should be formatted similarly’;
and with further reference to your comment that
‘The program is focused on digital identity and social media leadership’:
Could I suggest that your new program be put forward under the title ‘Unite!’

    "Stretch" "Connect" "Inspire"

If you want to follow this format, I suggest "Socialize" to convey the theme of social media. Alternatively, "Attract" or "Impress" may work well.

Thank You for all of the great name suggestions! However, I would like to receive some more suggestions before moving on and picking a name. I would appreciate some more suggestions for a name! The more relevant to the topic and the program collectively, the better. The more similar the name is to "connect" or "stretch" the better. Thank You so much. I'm looking forward to seeing some more name suggestions for my program.

    "Stretch" "Connect" "Influence"
    "Stretch" "Connect" "Talk"
    "Stretch" "Connect" "Communicate"

Thank You! Now I am deciding between "Engage" or "Interact" for the program name. Which would you suggest? Please choose one of these. The winner will have the answer accepted and earn the points. Thank You again! Help me choose

What appeals to YOU about those two choices?
  • Posted by Mike Steffes on Member
"Engage" is a more active and energetic concept than "interact". The word interact is too diffuse and generic to encourage much of any action. I'd go with engage...it's much more, well, engaging.
