To ™ Or Not To ™; Does It Help S E O?
3/21/2019 at 2:51 PM ET
The company I work for is a distributor for a multitude of manufacturers, some very well known. In an effort to respectfully/properly represent them, I'm screening our site to ensure that areas where products/titles are all cap and adding appropriate ®,© or ™ symbols.
Does having the symbols and proper representation help SEO?
As an example, one product line is referenced on the manufacturer's site as POLYCAST®. I've seen our competitors list it as Polycast or PolyCast and they usually don't bother with the registered mark.
