What is your topic? Who is your primary target audience? What is the purpose of the tagline? Or is this for the event itself, covering a number of speakers/talks?

What do you want the tagline to communicate?

Is this a special TEDx event that you're producing or are you creating something TEDx-like?
    What does "Toast Talks" mean?
Who is the tagline for - speaker or an audience?

Who is your event aimed at? What's the TED-X theme?

Your question raises a dilemma as to what you are actually seeking. A tagline is not generally targeted at a speaking engagement talk or other one-off events. A tagline is generally attached to a company name to provide a positioning statement to help customers and clients understand the purpose of the business and be attracted to it. However, that is not what you are actually requesting.

The point that I am leading to is that the word 'tagline' has specific connotations for marketers, and in the context of this forum, it is a word that is quite specifically defined.

Are you therefore just looking for a promotional statement to attract attention to your participation in a TED-X address? If so, you are not looking for a tagline. But it is simply not possible to prepare a promotional statement for you without knowing the subject matter of your talk and your general experience in that field that makes you qualified to speak on the topic.
