Opera Singers Who Can Act Well

Posted by liliasassoonslp on 250 Points
I need to find a way to show casting directors that I represent opera singers who are not only superb vocally but also have dramatic skills. Opera singers who are so in character on stage, people forget it is an opera. Usually opera singers are only expected to sing well. but those like Maria Callas had dramatic talents that made her a diva of all times. Therefore, I want to tell people who look at my business that my singers will give you goosebumps with their voice/performance. and another message is that opera singers are supreme for the opera. But I am afraid to use the word supremacy of singing in the opera. Looking for branding ideas, tagline (Opera singers are the athletes of God—too banal). Supremacy of singers in the opera is back _sounds not PC> Please help!
thank you.

I think that saying your opera singers are also dramatic performers is the right direction. But more importantly, you want to highlight their abilities visually (video snippets, for example), rather than use a lot of words that are subjective.

The best way to make your point is with short video snippets that demonstrate your unique positioning. Words alone cannot convey sound/music quality or acting skills.

What do the Casting Directors say they want to see in a potential operatic star? What words do they use? Ask them to describe a few existing high-performers. Craft your pitch toward whatever it is the "judges" favor. If you are not deep enough into the industry to do this...well, that's a problem.
