The concepts that I'm trying to convey are:
Connection with the local area (e.g., city, town, county)
Knowledge of the local business market
Ready Access
Participation
Middleman
Enabling
Not Trendy
Not High-tech
Friendly
Media and Advertising Savvy
Lead Generation
Established
Expertise in the regional area
Online focus, with possible offshoots into offline (e.g., yellowpages, newspapers)
I can't use the name of the town in the name of the company since this will be marketed in towns all over the US.
Anyone have some off-the-cuff thoughts on this? (Yes, we do have a list of names we've considered, but I'm going to pretend they don't exist since (A) we didn't like them very much and (B) we don't want to sway the free-form thinking that tends to occur in this forum.)
Feel free to give it a shot. I'll give feedback as much as possible.
