    Ask a few high-gain questions of your customers and listen to how they respond. Help them achieve their objectives without selling too hard.

    E-marketing is right on target. personally i believe understanding your potential customer, his/her latent needs and delivering those will propel you ahead.

    i mean if a person is looking for safety more than anything else, you should sell him/her a Volvo other than any other brand. Not all customers probably say in the very beginning they want a safe car, safety comes with car itself. rather its the little information like having "2 school-going kids", "living in suburbs", "commuting thru' expressway" and other cues will tell you the person is concerned about safety 1st. then you can propose him the new Volvo S80.

    adding to Laura's bundle offer options, some ideas..

    1. develop a scheme in which the buyer will not pay his monthly installment untill he clocks running the vehicle for 5000 miles or untill 2 months are over which ever comes first. it gives the buyer actual taste of driving that car as having a test doesnt always give that taste and feeling.

    2. you can offer a certain number of car washing free at a certain washing facility.

    3. you can give a free Car Fragrence at the time of delivering the car.

    4. i like the idea of providing a gift and i agree with Melanie that you should really consider hard before giving any gift.
