New Moniker For Presentation Skills Program

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
I need your help please!

I would like to rename my company's presentation skills program with a name that is clear, appeals to the ego, doesn't sound generic and allows for a broad definition of presenting as opposed to suggesting only formal presentation situations. The term "Presentation Skills" is six syllables. My thinking is to save it for a sub-descriptor.

We work with senior executives and trial lawyers, many of whom are already good at presenting. Many think they are already good and don't think they need the training until they find out about the calibre of our clients and are excited with the prospect of being really good.

I look forward to your thoughts.

How about term that links into their senioritry! Something like:

    Executive Development
    Executive Presentation Skills

Or use "Coaching" as a modern acceptable term

    Or:

    Active Presentations
    InSight PResentations
    Management Impprovement Programme (MIP)

Hi, Trevor. About two years ago, I had the privilege of participating in a terrific program called "The Ammerman Experience" here in Houston. It was a gripping educational ride through what it takes to deal with the media, especially in times of business crisis.

    See www.ammermanexperience.com for some insight.

Remembering what I went through there, and trying to read between the lines of your question, maybe you need to refer to your program as "Thinking on Your Feet" or "Speaking from the Hot Seat."

Oh, and it's six syllables only down south: PRESENTATION SKEE-ULLS.   ;]
