Google is the world's largest media company by revenue in 2015, according to a recent report from ZenithOptimedia.

The report was based on ZenithOptimedia's 2015 estimated media revenue data for the top 30 companies globally; "media revenue" was defined in the report as "all revenue deriving from businesses that support advertising."

Google is 136% bigger than the second-largest media owner (Disney), up from 115% a year earlier, the analysis found.

Google is also bigger than the second-largest and third-largest (Comcast) combined.

Facebook is the fastest-growing of the top 30 media owners; its media revenues grew 63% over the past year.

The next-fastest growing company is Baidu, which increased media revenue 43% over the past year.
